The cast iron had rotted away and collapsed underneath the foundation. That pipe also went underneath an addition that was built over top of the existing septic tank. So in the first picture is the new schedule 40 PVC piping that was installed. Then a new hole was drilled through the foundation to reroute the sewer line to the new septic tank that we installed.
